I believe they are opened on Sunday's.
Great staff, courses are spaced out well. The food was really good and the ambiance was pleasant.
Food is wonderful! This is only the second time I've been there. First time service was excellent. This time not so much. I was a bit disappointed. Their steak wasn't good at all. I will go back though. I love the atmosphere.
Great food excellent service! Very hospitable 😁
High prices for the quality of food! Salmon had no flavor and had a hair in it. 3 scallops for $20. The mash potatoes was a baby scoop and no flavor, like out of a box. They look like fine dining inside the place but it did not match the food. It was the worst money I have spent on food, ever. No kid menu. Hard bread felt like it was 2 days old. I have been to hundreds of great restaurants and this was by far one of the worst tasting meals for the money. I felt like they robbed us!
Love this place! Vinny and his staff are some of the most welcoming people I know they treat you like family! The food is really delicious and the atmosphere is perfect!
The food was great...Service was 👌 too..we willBe back soon
Great service and always a great meal
Best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. Great wait staff and bar! Come here if you want to have a world class meal!
Food was delicious and service was very good. Would highly recommend you try it.
Very disappointing experience. Service was abysmal and the food lackluster. Was expecting better
Great Food... The Mashed Potatoes was a Bomb 💯
Great food.Nice atmosphere.
Best food and atmosphere in Sullivan County by far!! Always a good time and great food!
One of the greatest meals I have ever eaten.. great time...wonderful service..
Great food & great service..
Food was good but the service was atrocious. The manager thought it was a Michelin Star Italian Restaurant (in the middle of nowhere?) and can demand it’s patrons whatever he felt like. Absolutely rude and obnoxious. We will all never go back obviously, and I think he knows it and cares little. Patrons, be warned!
Here's a no fuss small town Italian restaurant with affable staff and reasonable prices. Scratch made pasta and gnocchi were hits. Chicken, shrimp and peppers were very tasty, but oddly paired with mashed potatoes and green beans. Our host generously shared some of his own home made orange infused grappa after our meal, a really nice touch.
Top notch. From the minute you walk in, you are treated as a VIP. Food is always fresh and delicious.
Absolutely amazing as always!
Best restaurant in town. They treated us like family. Everything was so delicious. We'll be back.
Overpriced OK food - nothing inspiring. I guess it is OK for the area, but not worth the trip. Seems as though it has a good bar scene.
Food and service was good but portion were a little small. Overall everything was good.
First visit tonight and everything from the service, appetizers, main meal, and dessert was delicious!!!
We arrived at 4:50pm on a Saturday to an empty restaurant and were asked if we had reservations. We were the first to order and we waited until almost 6 PM for our entrees to arrive. The bean soup reminded me of baked beans and the fried calamari was fried frozen from a package. The entrees of chicken martini and lamb chops were decently prepared. Can't say as much for the salmon. The place tries to be respectable old school Italian, but it is a bit of a joke. Three entrees with one glass of wine cost me $141 +tip. I dont know if I'll be back.
Always wonderful consistant food and service. One of my favorite places!
Great food, great atmosphere.
Loved the Veal Parm dinner. Pasta and sauce first rate. Plenty of home made bread, olive oil and Parmesan cheese plus salad. Would highly recommend to anyone. Staff was friendly and attentive.
1 STAR is being far too generous. During a car rally final night celebration dinner altogether I experienced for the first time in my life the most uncomfortable situation ever lived. The manager/owner (bald gentlemen) was the rudest individual ever disrespecting a group of nearly 40 or so during a nice dinner. In the interest of MY time and at the sake of bad memories I will spare you the details. Needless to say I would suggest you NEVER go here even if your life depended on it.
One of the best italian restaurants ive ever been to, food was superb.
Love Ciao Bella!! Always Great Service from the moment you walk in!! Food is great and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
Always a great experience here. Oysters were among the best I've ever had. Food and service are top notch.
Great food. Worth the trip a d lovely covered deck
What a wonderful place!...One of the BEST places to dine in Sullivan County!
It is never ok to yell at your customers. The tall manager of this restaurant had an altercation with someone from our group. He was asking about the price of tea or coffee which was not listed in the menu. When the manager replied with the price, the person within the group questioned why the price was a bit high. The manager started to yell and saying "Your telling me how to run my business!". This was uncalled for which ended up in a shouting match with a few people in our group. It is never ok to yell at your customers. All 40 people in attendance will never come back to this restaurant.
Had a fantastic time here. Attentive service; reasonable prices. Eat the scallops!
One of the best restaurants for Italian food and awesome cocktails!
I had the profound displeasure of watching the owner scream at a restaurant patron during dinner service when asked for clarification regarding the bill. Apparently this restaurant doesn't understand the concept of separate bills or electronic receipts. They also clearly don't understand the concept of customer service. Never in my life have I witnessed anyone speak to someone in the manner in which the owner of this restaurant spoke to that patron. He should be ashamed of himself.
As soon as you enter the door till the time you leave, the entire staff could not make you feel more comfortable. Food was delicious. From appetizers to dessert. I wish I could have rated this place a 10, but it only went up to 5. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent Dining Experience
We live on long Island, we are coming back up just to have dinner at Ciao Bella Gunny, you really know how to run a restaurant.
This place has the best food combined with the best service. The chicken was unbelievable and Gunny treats everyone like they're family. If you are anywhere in the area this is the place to eat.
Very enjoyable meal nice atmosphere , staff attentive the owner had a chat about the food that added to a nice evening meal
Better then your average Monticello restaurant. Authentic Italian selections. The Chicken Balsamico with sausage was very good. The Chicken parmesan was exceptional. Black pasta and seafood also good.
Every thing was prepared very well and the service impeccable. Always enjoy our visit there
The food is so delicious you can't get enough of it. People you need to go and try out this food and then you tell me what you think about the food. Awwwwww
Awsome authentic Italian food, wow. Superb service. Be back soon.
The place needs a good dusting. I shouldn't be seeing a thick layer of dust on anything where I'm paying $20.00 for a chicken plate. I don't know what that wine was but it wasn't what was ordered. The parking lot was ice covered, we had to mention to the host that someone is going to fall. The food wasn't terrible but it could have been better.
Excellent service and food! All in timely manner. Definitely visit!
Small place hides a jewel! This Italian eatery is NYC quality in the heart of....Monticello? Yep. White table cloths are appropriate here. This family-run phenom is absolutely worth a try. And compared to NYC, the prices are pleasantly affordable.
